Dear SBIC members,
As SB4EU project is approaching the end, we would like to invite you to follow news and events related to  smart building and the SRI through the following options (you can choose multiple options):

  • easySRI is a LIFE program funded project enabling a smooth and extendable web platform that offers services for the automated calculation of the SRI. The aim is to make the SRI more understandable for building users and develop customised recommendations for building upgrades. Novel business strategies will promote adoption and engage stakeholders towards evaluating and upgrading smartness in their facilities, while dedicated workshops and training material will facilitate the deployment.
  • SRI-ENACT  is a LIFE program funded project that provides a holistic solution to facilitate the SRI uptake in Europe, by engaging stakeholders in the co-creation of national-tailored SRI implementations and the development of the SRI-ENACT toolkit. The project’s large-scale pilots will provide evidence on the success of the SRI implementation to create best practices, design financing schemes for the SRI improvement, and deliver policy recommendations for the replication and wider uptake of the SRI-ENACT tools and services.
  • SRI2Market  is a LIFE program funded project showcasing the lessons learned and successes achieved in Austria and France as test cases of the SRI rollout into the national regulations and markets. The project intends to help accelerate policy decision-making on SRI and establish the groundwork for its wider rollout. The aim is to engage with policymakers and other stakeholders to generate interest and opportunities for SRI.
  • Smart2 aiming to develop and deliver tools and applications for the promotion and establishment of intelligence assessment of buildings in Europe, through building Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI) schemes. Smart² aspires to deliver a cloud based open platform for assessing the intelligence of buildings, available in all 24 EU official languages, considering the specificities of the Member States to maximize synergies with other EU initiatives.
